Grover and I went to the Hannah Montana concert Sunday. Yes, by a freak turn of events we got tickets. They were in the very top row of the upper level, but we had a pretty good view. Of course, none of the pictures I took on my camera phone turned out. They all look like I was documenting some sort of atomic weapon detonation. Anyway, Grover seemed overwhelmed by the noise and lights at first but she got over it pretty quickly. It was fun watching her sing and dance along with the music. It was a pretty good concert, although the "performance" aspect was far better than the actual singing. Being the "Best of Both Worlds" Tour, half the act was Hannah Montana and the other half was Miley Cyrus. Miley did the encore song and let's just say it showcased her vocal abilities. She's a cute kid, though, and I can certainly think of worse people for Grover and Ollie to idolize (Paris, Britney, Lindsay...).
The Jonas Brothers were the opening act and surprisingly I knew more of their songs than I realized. I'm not sure if that's a good thing. I knew the Year 3000 song because Ollie sings the chorus a little differently than it's written - instead of "great great great granddaughter", she says "great great great grand otter".
