There are a number of reasons I am fortunate not to live in New Jersey, but most of all because of an E. coli outbreak linked to 3 Taco Bell restaurants there. Hope it doesn't spread. Where will I eat lunch 3 times a week???

This update on our Christmas tree is brought to you by my new camera phone with which I've figured out how to upload pictures to the internet. I did finally figure out how to work the speakerphone. (Still haven't opened the manual.)

Here's the tree, currently standing upright in a properly sized tree stand in our family room:


As you can see, it somewhat dwarfs the chairs on either side of it. I'll take another picture once the gifts from my in-laws arrive. My MIL tends to go a bit overboard so there will be presents EVERYWHERE. It borders on obscene.

I finally got a camera phone, so the next time Shroomhenge appears I'll be ready. Now I have to go play with said phone and figure out how to work all the cool features.

UPDATE: I stayed up 'til midnight playing with the phone and all I managed to do was download ringtones. Now I'm really tired and I still can't figure out how to talk on speakerphone. Guess I'll try reading the manual...
