I just read a news story about a guy in Oregon who fired 12 nails from a nail gun into his head. Ow! That hurts just thinking about it. Evidently, he was on meth at the time and that combined with a mental disorder drove him to suicide. I think you must really be desperate to use a nail gun. Not that I'm an expert on suicide, but I would think there are much less painful ways to go. He lived, by the way. The doctors removed the nails with needle-nosed pliers and a drill.

Interestingly, the article said that 65% of nail gun injuries are intentional.

Well, I knew it wasn't just me. The geniuses at ABC News have declared this the worst allergy season in years. At least I know I'm not alone in my suffering. There's comfort in knowing that many other people are as miserable as I am.

I'm watching TV and just saw a Cialis commercial. It never fails to amuse me when they flash the name of the active drug - tadalafil. Hee..hee..hee..

On a much grosser (more gross?) note, I'm watching CSI-NY and the pathologist just cut a chunk of skin off a dude's back and put it in the microwave to raise a tattoo that had been lasered off. Quite cool. Wonder if it really works? It did for him, but he lives in TV Land.
