OK, I have some really strange dreams. I mean, they range from merely bizarre to frighteningly psychotic (a la
The Cell).
Luckily, I don't remember the details most of the time, just the overall feeling that I've experienced something really disturbing. Last night, however, I had a dream that I actually remember. I dreamed that I had moved back to Wisconsin and was driving around some crowded metropolitan area (I assume Milwaukee). Well, right there it qualifies as a nightmare given how much I hate driving and freak out when there's lots of traffic since being flipped over in my SUV by an asshole who apparently felt that stop signs (not to mention a driver's license) were optional. But I digress. I got through this parking lot melee and ended up in a grocery store (just me, not the car). Lo and behold, in the basement of this grocery store was a very elaborate maze of hallways, banquet rooms, trophy & memorabilia rooms, workout rooms, etc. that belonged to none other than the mighty Green Bay Packers. As I made my way through the labyrinth of NFL greatness, I came upon an emergency room (yes, that's right, like in a hospital). There were four girls that I knew in high school and my roommate from freshman year in college who were all there "together" if you catch my drift and I couldn't run fast enough to get away from them. I exited the maze and the grocery store and headed straight for a shoe store because... I had left my shoes in the GB Packers' locker room. The shoe store had very little winter stock left since they were ushering in spring styles. Why does this matter? Because it had started to snow and I needed boots. I searched and couldn't find any in my size (at least not in the color I wanted) so I ended up out in the snow barefoot.
Needless to say, that elicited a WTF??? when I woke up.
